Casal é preso por estupro, tentativa de homicídio e tortura contra os filhos em Sergipe

Os suspeitos foram presos em Aracaju e na cidade de Canindé do São Francisco

A Polícia Civil prendeu pai e mãe acusados de estupro, tentativa de homícidio, tortura e abandono de incapaz contra os próprios filhos no sertão de Sergipe. Os mandados de prisão foram cumpridos simultaneamente nas cidades de Canindé do São Francisco e Aracaju para evitar a comunicação entre os suspeitos.

A investigação teve início após a entrada de uma criança no hospital de Canindé no dia 12 de agosto com quadro de intoxicação. Segundo o delegado Douglas Lucena, a mãe teria inserido medicamentos no leite da vítima, que atualmente, está internada em estado grave no Hospital de Urgência de Sergipe (Huse), na capital sergipana.

Já o pai também é investigado pela prática de estupro de vulnerável contra outra filha, que hoje possui 14 anos, mas teria começado a ser violentada aos nove anos de idade. O casal também é suspeito de tortura em relação a outros filhos e da prática de abandono de incapaz. Um diário escrito pela mãe com supostos relatos dos delitos está sendo periciado.

O casal já se encontra sob custódia da polícia desde essa quarta-feira (15) e à disposição da Justiça.
