A alegria tomou conta das ruas de Japaratuba na tradicional Sarandagem da Gente. O centenário evento realizado todos os anos, reuniu milhares de pessoas para as celebrações juninas que faz parte do calendário da Emancipação Política do município.

Na programação o público acompanhou shows com Douglas Gavião além de Jeanny Lins e Dedé Brasil e em seguida, cortejo com grupos folclóricos pelas principais ruas e avenidas da cidade. Uma explosão de ritmos e sons que ficou marcado na memória e no coração de turistas e moradore .

Este ano, a Sarandagem da Gente prestou homenagens a Pedro da Cultura, importante incentivador das manifestações populares de Japaratuba e um amante incondicional da Sarandagem.
