Uma entrevista reveladora de um silencioso, mas trabalhador Alberto Macedo (MDB), comprovou aquilo que muita gente já especulava: A Barra dos Coqueiros está endividada, sob herança de uma gestão populista do ex-prefeito Airton Martins (PSD).

Leal ao agrupamento que o ajudou a se eleger prefeito, Alberto “segurou a bronca” por mais de dois anos e tocou um município com a máquina pesada pela perda orçamentária e pelo endividamento que foi revelado chegar a R$ 23 milhões junto ao Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS).

“Em dezembro de 2020 a receita foi de R$ 21 milhões e em janeiro de 2021, quando nós entramos, caiu para R$ 8 milhões […] Procuramos obter as certidões, porque devia R$ 23 milhões à Previdência Social e possuía 18 convênios de verbas federais sem prestação de contas, por isso procuramos sanar nesse sentido”, revelou o prefeito.

A informação faz cair por terra o discurso do, hoje oposicionista, Airton Martins. O ex-prefeito, no auge das suas pretensões de retomar o poder na Barra, discursa aos quatro cantos que entregou um município beirando perfeições californianas. Mas a verdade é nua e crua: A Barra dos Coqueiros foi entregue endividada e em circunstâncias difíceis para o prefeito Alberto, que somente dois anos depois, sem o encosto político de Airton e aliados, começa a fazer uma gestão leve e livre de amarras políticas que o prejudicavam.
