Ladrão morre após tentativa de assalto no centro de Aracaju

Um homem acusado de assalto morreu na tarde desta quarta-feira, 18, após ser baleado por um policia militar da reserva no Centro de Aracaju.

De acordo com as informações iniciais fornecidas pela Polícia Militar, o suspeito estava armado com uma faca, se passou por cliente e tentou assaltar uma clínica dentária na rua São Cristóvão.

Ainda de acordo com a PM, ao perceber a tentativa de assalto, a proprietária da clínica começou a gritar, o que provocou a fuga do suspeito. Neste momento, um PM da reserva percebeu a situação e perseguiu o assaltante que subiu em diversos telhados. O homem foi alvejado por tiros e morreu no local.

A PM explicou que o policial da reserva informou que iria comparecer à delegacia para prestar esclarecimentos. As informações sobre a identidade do suspeito não foram divulgadas.

O Instituto de Criminalística e o Instituto Médico Legal (IML) foram acionados.
