MPF Em Itabaiana Determina Quebra De Sigilo De Diego Costa Na Espanha

A Justiça Federal de Itabaiana, em Sergipe, determinou a quebra do sigilo bancário do jogador Diego Costa. A determinação atendeu a um pedido da Polícia Federal do estado, depois que o atleta não conseguiu explicar, na visão dos investigadores, sua relação com a empresa Esportenet, investigada pela operação Distração por suspeita de evasão de divisas e lavagem de dinheiro. Os pedidos contemplam contas bancárias do atleta na Espanha.

A determinação já está tramitando internacionalmente, mas ainda não tem prazo para resposta. O pedido foi feito após Diego Costa ter prestado depoimento à polícia, no fim do ano passado. Questionado sobre sua relação com a empresa, ele afirmou que era cliente do site de apostas. Disse que sua relação era como consumidor (no entanto, não soube informar qual era seu login e senha usados para acessar o serviço). Na visão da PF, a dinâmica das movimentações financeiras entre Diego e integrantes do grupo mostra um volume de transferências incompatível com esta versão.
