A gigante brasileira de petróleo e gás Petrobras iniciou o processo de venda de toda a sua participação no campo de águas profundas de Catuá, na bacia de Campos

A Petrobras informou na última sexta-feira (22), que iniciou a etapa de divulgação da oportunidade (teaser), em relação à venda de toda a sua participação (100%) no Campo do Catuá, pertencente ao Bloco Exploratório BC-60, no estado do Espírito Santo. O percurso está localizado a cerca de 128 km da costa, em profundidades de água que variam entre 1.700 e 1.950 m.

 

Essa transação está em linha com a estratégia da empresa de otimização de portfólio, redução de dívidas e melhoria da alocação de capital, pois concentra cada vez mais seus recursos em ativos de classe mundial em águas profundas e ultra-profundas.

O contrato de concessão refere-se à concessão exploratória do Bloco BC-60, adquirida na Rodada Zero da Agência Nacional do Petróleo, Gás Natural e Biocombustíveis (ANP). Esse contrato tem a Petrobras como operadora e abrange outros campos além do Catuá, que não fará parte do atual processo de transferência de direitos.
